Early inspirations
From a young age, I found joy in the simple act of drawing. Armed with a pencil and a blank page, I would immerse
myself in capturing everything from dinosaurs to recreating logos and names of friends. As I progressed through my education, my passion for art only
grew stronger.
A pivotal moment came during a GCSE Art project when I was tasked with creating my own mint chocolate. I named it 'Mega Mint,' and my art teacher,
Miss Algar, was genuinely impressed. Her words still resonate with me today: "Roy, this is excellent work. You should become a Graphic Designer!"
At 14 years old, I had no idea what a Graphic Designer was, but the sound of it intrigued me.
In college, my artistic journey shifted towards
the world of design. I decided to pursue Graphic Design at university, just as the interactive movement and new media were making their mark. The evolving
landscape fascinated me, and I thoroughly enjoyed exploring its possibilities. It led me to achieve a BA (Hons) Degree in Multimedia Design, solidifying my
foundation in this ever-evolving field.

Throughout my journey, I've stayed true to my ethos when faced with solving problems, and it has been the cornerstone of my success.
Embracing the power of design thinking and collaboration, I strive to push creative boundaries, paying meticulous attention to detail and executing projects with utmost
dedication. Taking pride in my craft, I believe in doing every job properly, regardless of its size.
As I've progressed in my career, I've discovered unexpected joys in aspects such as direction and leadership. Nurturing the development of
others while fostering a positive environment for emerging talent to flourish brings me immense fulfillment. The priceless positive feedback
I've received humbles me beyond words.
I am truly grateful for the opportunity to pursue my passion and be part of the fortunate few who genuinely love their
work. Collaborating, empowering, and inspiring those around me is a great privilege. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. Confucius said it best, and I couldn't
agree more.
